This design is made in Richelieu embroidery tehnique.
The embroidery in this technique is usually sewn in one color, the stops of the machine are only to mark different embroidery stages and to remove the hoop for cutting the fabric.

You can also use this ornament for the decoration of a napkin or a tablecloth, in this case you will not embroider the ring for hanging and you will not cut the fabric according to the contour of the star
